The Pure Precision SKLTN Stainless steel actions complement and improve upon our original Summit action, delivering greater accuracy, consistency and durability than ever before. Meeting the high demands of long-range hunters and shooters, we kept the base features of the Summit action and expanded on some key features to make the SKLTN model very light and feature-rich.

To decrease weight, there are lightening cuts in the body, recoil lug and a trimmed bolt shroud. A new spiral fluting pattern in the bolt also helps to decrease weight.

The Pure Precision SKLTN stainless steel action utilizes the Remington 700 footprint, 75-degree bolt throw, two locking lugs, spiral flutes and M16-style extractor. The Pure Precision SKLTN stainless steel actions also utilize a firing pin assembly that is field strippable without the use of tools; you can clean out debris, ice or a punctured primer piece with ease.

These stainless steel actions are made of 416, and the bolt is 4140 with DLC. The tenon specifications are the same pattern as the Remington 700.
